Area Sales Manager (m/w/d) Europe

Tasks and Challenges:

  • Sales in the biopharma industry: Responsibility for the regions Germany, Denmark and Austria, with a focus on the sale of products for sterilisation and control systems
  • Strategic market positioning: Development of strategies for positioning against competitors and for increasing the performance of partners within Europe
  • Customer relations: Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships, with a focus on longevity and quality, which is ensured through regular visits and individual support, as well as identifying and acquiring new customers through close cooperation with sales partners
  • Conducting product and sales training for distributors: providing comprehensive training on product performance, applications and sales strategies to distributors
  • Participate in sales initiatives and contribute to strategic planning: participate in sales department initiatives and assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve company goals, maximise profitability and competitiveness

 

My customer is looking for:

  • Technical training or studies in the field of control engineering, fluid technology, mechanical engineering, automation technology, process engineering, natural sciences (chemistry, physics), process engineering, industrial engineering, biopharmaceuticals, pharmacy (with focus/experience in industry & valves)
  • 7+ of experience in sales (ideally international) as well as in the valve industry, control engineering or measurement technology
  • Network in the biopharmaceutical industry is an advantage
  • Location should be in Central Europe
  • Knowledge of German OR Danish AND English essential
  • High willingness to travel internationally
  • Outstanding level of independence, self-management, ability to set goals, potential analyses and communication
