What does my client need you for?
- Your expertise in the field of flow and pressure measurement technology: that's what matters here. You know the market, the major suppliers, the qualities and shortcomings of the products through your years of exchange and your position in the market, so you know exactly where others fail and where to start first to initiate an improvement with high-quality products.
- You are a one-man army: and develop the Netherlands (and then BENELUX) as a new sales territory for our client. You will be supported by the Head Office and Business Development Managers from all over Europe (and the world).
- There is never a dull moment: you will be able to organize your working day completely independently. You decide which strategy is best for which customer, work out the qualities of the respective products in a targeted manner and present them first by telephone, but then also on site and convince manufacturers and distributors.
- Your network is essential: this is why you use your established contacts and your broad network to skillfully place the products on the market. “What does contact X need?” and ‘Why was contact Y dissatisfied with the previous products?’ are questions that you deal with and then develop targeted solutions to offer the customer exactly what they are looking for.
- You are building up the Netherlands branch: so your success directly reflects the success the company has in the Netherlands. The more successful you are, the faster the company grows, as does your position and your responsibility.
My client is looking forward to
- Technical training or studies as industrial engineer, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, automation technology, chemistry, physics, fluid technology or other training or studies with
- Technical background in the field of flow measurement technology, gas measurement technology, fluid measurement technology, pressure measurement technology or MBA with experience in the above areas
- Experience in sales! of process measurement technology, especially the above-mentioned areas such as fluid, flow or density measurement technology
- Ideally experience with the products of one of the major suppliers such as WIKA, ABB, E+H, Yokogawa, Emerson, Samsung, Krohne, Kobold, EGE, Keyence, Bourdon, Mecon
- 3+ years of experience in business development in the BENELUX region, ideally someone who has experience in building a site from virtually zero (with support & experience of international colleagues)
- Business fluent in Dutch & English
- High willingness to travel (at least 50%)
- Area primarily Netherlands, but in the long term BENELUX region
- Place of residence Netherlands OR Belgium (but NL prefered)
